Optician
Krishan Patel began his career as a Certified Dispensing Optician in London, England, in 1981. Here, working closely with the optometrist, he successfully oversaw the expansion of his optical dispensary into one of the regions top five practices.
Over the last 15 years in the United States, Krishan has added experience as the Optical Dispensary Coordinator/ Manager of the Katzen Eye Group/ Med-Optics located in Towson, Maryland.
He is currently a member of the National Association of Opticians, American Board of Opticianary, and Opticians Association of America.
Dr. Bregel often comments to patients, “bringing Krishan into the practice is the best thing I have done for myself in recent memory! Krishan brings with him the rare combination of qualities: intense work ethic, loyalty, compassion and sensitivity to patient needs and unfailing dedication to his self imposed standards of excellence.”
Having lived in Baltimore for the past 16 years, he now resides on the Eastern Shore with his wife and two daughters. In his free time,
Krishan enjoys reading, gardening, working-out at the gym and family oriented activities.

Receptionist / Billing
Although Lisa is the “new kid on the block”, she brings a great enthusiasm and resolve to handling complex insurance and billing issues. In her relatively short time with us she has made great strides in these areas. Dr. Bregel is convinced he has found the best person to fill the large void that will be left when Betty retires at the end of 2007. She’s got a lot to learn, but all the needed qualities are in place. Betty and Lisa make a great team, working effectively and efficiently together.
Lisa is engaged to be married in June 2007. She enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and crabbing on the Wye River.
